About the Role
You do not need a large platform to make a difference. It starts with a decision to act.
As a Freedom Advocate, you become part of a global movement of individuals working to prevent human trafficking, particularly in disaster contexts where vulnerability is increased.
You can create your own activity, whether it is a walk, hike, small gathering, or fundraiser, and use your voice to inspire others to take part.

Set a goal and invite others to support your efforts.
How It Works
- Step 1 – Sign Up
Register as a Freedom Advocate and receive your digital toolkit. - Step 2 – Plan Your Action
Decide how you would like to participate, whether through an event, challenge, or fundraiser. - Step 3 – Take Action (18–20 April)
Carry out your activity and document your experience. - Step 4 – Share and AmplifyShare your story, photos, and message to help raise awareness globally.
Your Impact
Your participation contributes to raising global awareness of human trafficking risks in disaster contexts, supports the rollout of the International Standard, and helps fund tools and initiatives for prevention and response.
