This video shows an interview with one of the families who received disaster relief from the Blue Dragon’s Children Foundation. This disaster relief program was supported by Freedom in Disasters as part of the Countering Child Migration in Vietnam Project. This initiative is designed to support children and families who are affected by the 2020 floods in Vietnam. For this region this support is of particular significance, as it’s knows for child trafficking. Crime syndicates exploit disasters and target child migration routes, with children seeking education in the distance falling victim to this illicit trade.
